AYB-Alexandria University (AYB-Alex) is one of the franchises of Alashanek Ya Balady Association for sustainable development, and according to the franchise system that was created to change the concept of volunteerism in charity to volunteerism in development; AYB-SD does not interfere in the internal management, events, and funds of the franchise. The franchise system of AYB-SD gives the full right of the student groups (franchises) to manage their organizations, develop their own tactics and plans, and select the programs they want to operate within certain guidelines from AYB-SD. Our Vision is setting sustainable development standards through utilizing available resources for building self-sufficient Alexandrian community. Our Mission is to maintain the good atmosphere for the voluntary work in Alexandria through trainings, personal couching and through building the leaders of our community, to economically sustain the marginalized communities in Alexandria.
