Alay ni Ignacio (ANI) is an organization of leaders that trains more leaders. It offers a year-long leadership formation program to financially-challenged but academically-gifted public high school students from Marikina and Quezon City – imbuing them not only with skills but also with values taught by St. Ignatius of Loyola so that they will become well-rounded leaders who are ready to bring our nation to progress.Founded in 2000 by a group of students from Ateneo, ANI started as a summer school program providing academic and extra-curricular activities to help public high school students enter competent colleges and universities. Since then, ANI has evolved to address not academic competence alone but the greater need for good leaders in our country.ANI is the student arm of Pathways to Higher Education, one of the Ateneo's key social development programs. Together, ANI and Pathways strive to help students from the grassroots to become leaders who are ready to face the challenges of nation-building.
