ALEGRIA Community Living supports adults with developmental disabilities who also have medical, behavioral or age-related support needs. Following the closure of the Agnews Developmental Center in 2009, Alegria developed homes to provide safe, secure, and lasting home environments for adults moving from this facility. Nine homes were developed across the Bay Area, with six in Alameda County and three in Contra Costa County.Alegria has continued to grow since its inception, now offering counseling services, a training program, and a carefully developed individualized day programs for residents of our homes but soon to be open to other who may benefits from these programs. The main office supporting the homes is based out of 410 7th Street in Oakland, California, United States.
