Alethea was established in 1927 and, in 1954, was registered with the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka as a Secondary School. Our values are embodied in the School Motto "Live, Give, Grow" – to live within a multi-ethnic community, give of one's best and grow up to serve Mankind. Education is entrusted to our versatile, committed and dedicated academic staff consisting of Postgraduate Degree holders, Trained Graduates, Graduates and Trained Teachers.Experienced National Level Coaches train our students in a variety of sports and extra curricular activities, as well as other skill-building activities. We believe in our staff continually upgrading their knowledge and skills, and towards this end the Management supports and invests in providing these opportunities.
