Alexandra Hospital is a modern, fully accredited 35 bed acute care facility which has been in operation since 1909.In 1996, Alexandra Hospital formed a strategic alliance with the London Health Sciences Centre and was the first rural hospital in Ontario to recognize the advantages of a strategic alliance with a teaching centre.The hospital is staffed by family physicians, a GP anaesthetist, a general surgeon and a medical internist. The hospital employs approximately 168 people who care for more than 20,000 patients per year.
