West London-based designer, Alexia Parmigiani, has developed a stellar reputation for creating one-of-a-kind scarves, kaftans and tops – producing fabulous pieces that are a mélange of luxurious fabrics, inimitable prints, textures and trims. Alexia established her eponymous label in 2005 after graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2002 with a degree in fashion and textiles. During her wholesale business she also owned a stall at Portobello market for 5 years where she was able to get to know her customer personally and build her client base for her website.Alexia creates eye-catching new prints that are either produced digitally or screen-printed. She also experiments with different techniques, from tie-dye designs to combining materials of different weights and textures in an unexpected way. This progression by Alexia has not gone unnoticed by her peers having won the Drapers Accessories Designer of the Year Award 2014.After 15 years of selling wholesale to stores worldwide in a number of different countries such as Italy, Belgium, Japan, The US and The UK Alexia has decided to change her direction of sales and concentrate her designing for her website only.Alexia will continue to produce a variety of designs exclusively to Alexia Fashion some styles maybe 'One Offs' and limited editions, this new concept Alexia feels is extremely exciting and offers a new approach to fashion. Alexia has ventured out into buying as she has always enjoyed shopping and has been complimented for her finds of accessories over the years. She has grown quite a collection and now she feels this is the perfect time to broaden her store by selling other brands such as jewellery and bags.
