6D of Health is a new innovative health improvement program. The project is evidence-based approach to with a view to address lack of formal structured health education program for the population. The current World Health is in crisis due to emerging costly chronic diseases. There is a need of reshaping people focus to take ownership and responsibilities of their health. Our goal is to equip individual with ability to prevent disease and fostering wellbeing.The Health challengeThe World health is in crisis due to increasing prevalence of incurable diseases and their cost implication. For 2015/16, the overall NHS budget was around £116.4 billion. The current preventative health program is fragmented and requires an innovative approach. There is a need to widen knowledge based approach to the population worldwide.• Why did you choose to run this campaign/activity?There is a lack of structured health education program for the population to understand the concept of health.Objectives• Who was the campaign aimed at (target audience)?The campaign is aimed at personal, corporate and local communities.• What did you want people to do because of the campaign?People will attend a day program and be properly educated about health. The solutionThis is the exciting part! The 6D of health has been designed to incorporate teaching and practical steps on the 6 domains of health- Physical, emotional, mental, social, family and spiritual health. The importance of understanding 6D of health include:• Healthy living and vitality• Empower individuals in addressing their challenges and health needs• Improve the quality of life of attendees• Reduce the risks of diseases• Reduce demand on acute health care services• Addressing health inequality in the World.The financial implication to local and nation government is great. We estimate that by teaching a 1000 people this program can cause a saving of £20million over a 10years period.
