Alfaisal Solar Car Team Details
Alfaisal Solar Car Project has a team of highly skilled students from the Electrical, Mechanical, Software and Industrial Engineering undergraduate programs at the College of Engineering in Alfaisal University, which is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They acquire HQP skills in safe and well equipped labs. The project started in the 2015-2016 academic year by Dr. Ahmed Oteafy, the project supervisor, with several cohorts working on the project. Our graduates now work in national and international companies, and went on to pursue graduate studies in prestigious universities. The current team leader of the project is Eng. Habib Farooq and the ME Team Lead is Eng. Ahmad Kanbar.The project is funded by #BoeingMidEast and #AlfaisalUniv Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization. It is hosted in the Joint Smart Grids and Electric Vehicles R&D Center, which further develops its ideas into research projects that are published in International Journals and Conferences.
