Civic & Social Organization - Austin, Texas, United States
Alhambra has its origins in mid 2009, when a group of accomplished professionals with different backgrounds and extensive international experience came together in Austin, Texas. The group shared an awareness of the need for greater cooperation and partnership across national, cultural, linguistic and religious boundaries and was united by a desire to translate that awareness into action. Launched at the end of 2009, Alhambra has spent the past four years dedicated to aiding those already engaged in productive international work and empowering those desiring to do so for the first time. Envisioned by a former US Special Envoy, the Alhambra U.S. Chamber was established in 2009 to help forge ties between the U.S. and other nations in business, diplomacy, education and culture. As a private, non-profit organization Alhambra promotes academic and commercial partnerships across the globe with the ultimate goal of fostering closer relations between the U.S. and other nations. Alhambra serves as a catalyst and force-multiplier for its clients and members, leveraging the collective experience, skills and contacts of its world-class leadership team and advisors to initiate and strengthen global partnerships. The Chamber is fully dedicated to transforming vision into reality, offering a full range of customizable services to help its members and clients achieve their unique goals.
