AlHudood is the de facto news satire publication of the Middle East with significant presence in most countries in the MENA region. AlHudood has over a million readers, is followed by about 500k people on social media, has been featured in The Guardian & the BBC, and has won the Special Award at the One world Media Awards this year after having been nominated 4 times to international media awards including the One World Media Awards and the DRUM Online Media Awards.AlHudood has a team of fifteen people working on producing a wide array of content relevant to Arab people at home and in the diaspora, and works with a network of hundreds of contributors to enable it to cover the whole region. AlHudood has recently launched the AlHudood Award for Arab media, to highlight the worst of the content produced by the unprofessional, sectarian, and divided Arab media outlets, to great attention by people and media. This will culminate in an event which will launch in 2019 when the award ceremony will be held.
