ALICE, the American Legislative and Issue Campaign Exchange, is a one-stop web-based public library of progressive state and local laws. The ALICE library includes model laws, "exemplary" laws that have been introduced or enacted somewhere and are worthy of replication, and various types of "supports" that help to make the argument for particular laws. For ALICE, "progressive" refers to law and policy that promotes economic and social equity, environmental sustainability, and a capable and effective democracy. The ALICE library is offered as a public good, to support the efforts of any individual or group that shares these values. In developing the materials in its library, ALICE partners with law professors, law students, legal clinics, pro bono attorneys, and a wide range of progressive law and policy organizations.Learn more and join us at alicelaw.org
