Since as early as I can remember, I have had a love for cooking. Some of my earliest memories are of my Grandmothers' kitchens, watching and helping as they prepared our food. I also learned so much from my Uncle Johnnie, who lived in Hawaii and taught me the love of the islands with food and dance. \\After high school and trade school for food preparation—where I cooked all the lunches for the cafeteria—I worked for restaurants and caterers in Hawaii and San Francisco for almost 20 years as a cook, server and manager. My most memorable experience was serving dignitaries including the Queen of England at the DeYoung and Asian Art Museums. \\I started my own catering business in 2007, offering menus that reflect my diverse history. My mother's side is from the Philippines and Cadiz, Spain, while my father's roots were in Armenia. All these influences sparked my interest in Mediterranean, Latin and Island Cuisines.\\\\Seeing the happy reactions of guests to my food is the spark to keep sharing my love of cooking.
