Our mission is to help our clients minimize down time of their laundry equipment while offering the best possible service at competitive prices. ALJCO's humble roots date back to 1984 when owner Alan Johnson grew tired of machine down-time at his coin laundry. He began fixing the washer and dryer controls and started developing electronic systems to get the machines back in service more quickly. Neighboring laundromat owners started seeking his expertise, and ALJ Electronics / ALJCO was born. We are great at repairing electronic controls but let's face it – sometimes the right solution is a new part or machine. That's why ALJCO also sells new appliances and parts for commercial and residential customers. We specialize in ADC, Maytag, and Whirlpool equipment and offer support services for Speed Queen, Dexter, Maytag, Huebsch, Wascomat, Unimac and others.Today, the business is run by Alan's daughter Carolyne. With a background in engineering, Carolyne provides technical expertise that sets ALJCO apart from competition. We find solutions when others cannot.
