'ALL THINGS PRETTY ' is all about creation of hand craft and embroidery. My dream to help women in my village (Sanur District Patiala Punjab) to give them opportunity to learn and earn. I have achieved my dream and with iemence pride i like to state that i have 40 artisans working as embroiders who create Phulkari (Phulkari a Punjab traditional tread work done on cloth) Duppata's and Sarees in no time.These women have learnt hand painting and Block Printing along side.These are the successful women who earn their pocket money where they don't have to spread their hand infront of their husbands and parents. I have educated them to operate bank accounts and how to have their own savings. Teaching a few to read and write in english language is my aim as they are already started.I belive in the power of women to change their lives, their communities and the world. Yet too many women are prevented from enjoying their full human rights because of poverty, discrimination , violence and inequality.I want to see my village where every women can determine her own life. I work along side to provide them with opportunities to learn and earn an income, and help them see the change they want to see.
