VISIONallgo envisions a just and equitable society that celebrates and nurtures vibrant queer people of color communities.MISSIONTo nurture and celebrate queer people of color by building, educating, and mobilizing communities toward a just and equitable society.Social Justice: Through our alliances and connections with individuals and organizations across Texas, allgo members can promote events, resources, and calls to action in local communities throughout the state. allgo is a member of Communities of Color United for Racial Justice (CCU) which is a local grassroots organizing coalition. Health & Wellness: The stresses associated with oppression, combined with lack of access to or inadequate health care, exacerbate or create avoidable health problems. allgo provides education, safe spaces, and experience in wellness practice. Components of wellness are interwoven in all of our activities include wellness workshops/discussions, support programs, safer sex supplies information, including access to free mammograms and breast exams once a year. Cultural Arts Program: We are committed to providing spaces for us to create, to tell our own stories through artistic expression, to unleash the power of art as activism. The core of our cultural arts program is our showcase Artist-in-Residence program.
