The Alliance for Community Research and Development (ACRD) has been a community-based organization contributing to the health and well-being of communities since 2004. We develop organizations' abilities to use evaluation and research to understand their services, maximize their impact and use research to improve their ability to make a difference in their communities. In short, we help organizations apply science to improve their communities and personal welfare.Staff:Co-founder: Steve Roussos, Ph.D., MPHDr. Roussos has an extensive background in research on a variety of topics and has worked with a variety of industries. His current focus is in human and community development with emphasis on social economic and cultural factors. Dr. Roussos' main goal is to improve population health and development in addition to understanding the influence of organizations and community partnerships, more specifically how it influences under-represented communities. Kristi Imberi-Olivares, Ph. DDr. Imberi-Olivares is ACRD's Research Associate and Consultant. She has a background in child development research with a focus on social interaction, cognitive development, and language acquisition. Some of Dr. Imberi-Olivares' contributions to ACRD include program evaluation consulting and training services, leadership and organization development, curricula development, performance measurement, and quality management.
