The Alliance for Pharmaceutical Access, Inc. – APA, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) local non-profit organization, founded in Santa Maria in 2004 by local community members and physicians to assist individuals who struggle to meet their basic health needs and are unable to afford their medications. Many are forced to forego taking their prescriptions, greatly increasing the risk of additional decline to their health.APA provides free advocacy services to individuals in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties; who are unable to afford their prescription medications and/or diabetes supplies.
