ATSS is a Canadian association of science and technology specialists who were educated outside of Canada. ATSS is a non-profit organization. Its focus is to assist highly skilled newcomers to adapt quickly to the Canadian economy and settle within the Canadian society. ATSS represents over 300 professionals who came to Canada from various countries. The majority of these professionals previously held senior positions in science and engineering. Our members possess solid education, qualifications and extensive experience in their areas of expertise. Approximately 35% of them have published books and articles in the internationally renowned science magazines and other publications, thus gaining significant international reputation. Many of our members' inventions have been patented, and their innovations and proposals have been adopted by the industry. Some of our current members hold executive positions in the Canadian companies and actively participate in our activities.
