I am a professional organizer and I love what I do. The joy of helping someone corral their clutter is very rewarding. Have you ever watched Clean House or Hoarders? That's one part of Allicadabra. From a simple closet to the very emotionally demanding and difficult situations of "too much stuff". I also offer relocation services. If a client is moving from a home, we address what can be "left behind" lightening the load. This also makes the destination easier because there is that much less to unpack. If a client is moving into a new home, I am an expert at creating that new home. Kitchens, bedrooms, baths, all the spaces are "put together" so you can get on with your life. The boxes and paper are removed as well. I can stage a home to sell lightening quickThis is the serious side of Allicadabra. It is two pronged. The first prong is when someone needs to live in a safer environment, frequently assisted living. This usually involves a smaller living space. I can help "Mrs. Smith" choose which things she wants to take to her new home and make that transition super easy. This can be a great help to family members. Sometimes the family lives out of town or the challenge of the close personal relationships makes it challenging to help Mom.The second prong is when someone passes away. This can be a very difficult time and if family is out of town or emotionally, it is just too much, I have relationships with lots of folks who can evaluate the value of just about anything and we can endeavor to get money for the family/estate. I also gently step in and allow "Mr. Smith" to live on by getting his worldly possessions to any charitable organizations desired. I shred sensitive documents, clear out remaining items and get the property ready for sale. All the while, I am on the lookout for things that the family might have missed or were unaware of and make sure they get into the right hands.
