Our concept is different because we focus on family. \\Each room is designed to be decorated just as the resident's home environment was, thus decreasing the anxiety of the one living with Alzheimer's. \\Our focus is on the resident's needs and preferences, they are treated as if they are purposeful, meaningful and are capable of decisions based upon their own preferences.\\We recognize the person's strengths and how they can assist what we and others do, and see the person's limits that offer opportunities for others to assist.\\We respect that the individual has a memory impairment but that they are capable of forming valuable relationships with caregivers and those around them.
