Allumer, in French means ‘To light up' - A British brand, made in the Britain - the fun concept of the award winning jewellery, packaged in a match box saying 'Light up my Life' - follows throughout the whole brand and depicts the perfect gift. The brand is rapidly evolving and spreading throughout the world - Vogue calls the bracelets 'The Rolls Royce of friendship bracelets' - Worn by the likes of Kate Moss, Eva Longoria, Victoria Beckham, Kelly Osbourne, Paris Hilton, Princess Beatrice and boyfriend Dave, Ferne Cotton, Daisy Lowe and many more. The branding is very strong, it has a lovely story. I made a bracelet for myself, and my best friend said she loved it and wanted one. She worked for Vogue and ended up blogging about it on the Vogue website. The same day Harvey Nichols buyers called and wanted to have a meeting. So over night I created a collection, I'd been to art college in Paris and had always wanted to use the word Allumer - to light up. It just so happened that I was designing some matchboxes for a private members' club and realised they were the perfect packaging for the jewellery. The brand just came together there, that evening. So all the jewellery is packaged in an exclusive matchbox with our slogan ‘light up my life'.
