Allup Silica Limited (Company) is a private unlisted exploration company focused on advancing its Unicup and Quinninup Silica sand Projects located in southern region of Western Australia.BHP drilled and logged high-purity Silica sands from surface to 24 metres at Quinninup at a time when prices and markets were relatively under appreciated. The BHP drill logs indicate a geologically simple, high purity sand mass at surface.The Company reviewed the relevant data sets, selected the most prospective accessible land and conducted its own near surface sampling programs in 2020. As a result of this work, preliminary and unqualified resource targets have been estimated.Quinninup has an estimated 34 million tonnes (mt) (min) to 231mt (max) with SiO2 grades between 97.4% - 99.2% and Unicup 107mt (min) to 153mt (max) with SiO2 grades between 98.2% - 99.5%.Silica sand production involves very simple low-cost mining and processing. Project viability typically hinges on product purity and transport logistics. Initial investigations indicate encouraging raw mineral purities and Site to Ship transport is viable with acceptable costs.Silica sand demand is growing at 8-9% annually driven by glass making, foundry casting, hydraulic fracking and chemicals and metals. The Company expects its product will be sold into the highly active Asia-Pacific region due to factors such as the region's continuing increase in demand, and the ease and proximity in shipping.
