Our designs are all printed on color-locking high-performance fabrics that keep you cool, dry and comfortable so you can focus on your workout. Tested by competitive runners, lifters, yogis, dancers, and countless other athletes, every piece produced has been curated by the toughest performers under the most demanding conditions. Our beautifully created activewear inspires even the most reluctant to step up to the challenge of being healthy and staying active…in style. About the FounderAlma Activewear is part of Alma Active, an active lifestyle company. Founded by Cristina Acevedo, a runner, yogi and fitness warrior, Alma is the combination of her two passions: aesthetic design and health. After the inspiring, though challenging, experience of being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis Cristina committed to helping people discover their body's amazing potential and inner-strength before having to live through a life-threating illness to uncover it. She combined her experience in startups and design to launch Alma's activewear line in Spring 2014 with the help of industry-leading experts in performance fabrics and activewear manufacturing.The inspiration for Alma Activewear's designs and colors come from her home. The initial design concept was born out of by the beautiful geometric patterns of Guatemalan fabrics. Bringing centuries color to our modern urban adventures, Alma takes the inspiration of these vibrant colors and lines to modern activewear with the help of talented artists developing the prints.
