Thanks for visiting AlmaDots but we are no more in operations. We started in August 2017 with an aim to increase alumni engagement in Indian colleges. We wished to empower alumni associations with automated tools for community management, content creation and market research. One of our taglines was 'We crowdsource Ideas'. We could say so because college alumni are more than willing to connect to their roots and contribute to it. Any value given back to them became an 'order winner' for us. We tried to ensure that alumni website became much more than directories of alumni and noticeboard for updates that no one cared about. One of our targets was to connect the $ 6-billion alumni management solution industry to the $ 200-B hiring industry. This way we targeted to use a strategic network of alumni communities for the hiring of active and passive candidates. Thereby we planned to provide the best alumni engagement solutions for a price that Indian colleges are willing to spend. So AlmaDots started as a SaaS business that aimed to build alumni management system to enter the hiring industry. We received pre-incubation from JSSATE STEP in November 2017 which is a DST backed IT business incubator previously conferred the best tech-based incubator in India by DST, GoI. However, AlmaDots shut down in December 2018 as we failed to materialise its plans due to some reasons.
