Almië Engineering is an innovative startup in the new technologies field."Almië" comes from Quenya, the Evles' language created by J.R.R Tolkien during the second quarter of the 20th century. It means "Bliss" or "Blessings". We bare it as a lucky charm, but we also link it with the concept of engineering. That way we become the engineers of our own bliss, as much as the designers of wonderful tools allowing users to build their success, their well-being and, eventually, their bliss. We thrive to be the designers of a better and more peaceful world. The products we design, such as Video games, mobile applications or connected objects, have common purposes: making users' life better and making them build their own equilibrium. We also seek to lead the society we live in toward progress and enhancement. As a perfect example, "Biumiz, the little world of languages" addresses the need to speak several languages in our globalized world. In fact, according to the CEREQ (http://www.cereq.fr/), more than 67% of recruiters focus on multilingual profiles. Moreover, multilingual people are usually more open-minded, show more empathy and have more abstraction skills (according to studies lead by the University of Alberta, Canada and the University of Padova, Italy). Therefore, becoming multilingual is a good way to enhance one's own life while making the society more tolerant.
