Being bilingual (Spanish-English) in the US is certainly an advantage. Forty-five million people speak Spanish as a first or second language in the United States. Even though it's very common that the 2nd generation switches to English often, creating what we know as Spanglish. Unfortunately, this is not quite English or Spanish, which creates barriers in daily life, such as confidently communicating in a professional environment, expressing emotions, or discussing family matters. For that reason, I created Almostbilingual.com to provide private language sessions. I take into account how each bilingual person is unique. I identify the best method of instruction for them. I make the necessary changes within their personal curriculum in order to ensure their improvement and confidence as a bilingual speaker.
