Alocura is a relatively young company, setup by its major shareholders to bring innovative thinking and solutions to the delivery of more effective care services, providing better care outcomes and value for money solutions for the NHS and Local Authority budget holders, based around local communities. This will include building relationships/ links with Registered Providers (RPs), LAs and CCGs and where necessary Regional Care Support Units. We would define our role as being ideally positioned to bring together the various parties to best understand local requirements, build the scope of the Community Hub facility and manage the procurement and ongoing relationship with key partners. Finally, we will play a central role in the effective integration of Adult Social Care and Healthcare Personal Budgets, in line with government policy guidelines. Alocura's major shareholders have an in-depth knowledge of community based health and social care market solutions and bring with them vast experience of personal budgets and the services that relate to them, including the use of innovative systems to support the complex administration processes.There is a void between the Social and Health care markets in terms of integration and ‘joining-up' of services, which is having a negative impact on the well-being agenda. Alocura is passionate about the integration of care services within a community context and improving the overall wellbeing of that community. In building an integrated community based solution it is expected that services and outcomes will improve whilst achieving efficiencies for the NHS, the Local Authority and also the individual personal budget holders.
