Alpha Omicron Pi is an international sorority founded in 1897 and currently headquartered in Brentwood, TN. The Lambda Beta chapter at California State University Long Beach was installed in March 1965. AOII is one of 7 national sororities on the CSULB campus and participates in formal recruitment each year. Recruitment is open to women CSULB full-time students with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Throughout the academic year, AOII participates in community service projects, philanthropy events of other Greek chapters on campus, campus activities, scholarship & education programs, social functions and much more. Additionally, AOII hosts Strike Out Arthritis, a soccer tournament, and BRINNER and Spaghetti dinner events to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation and Arthritis research.
