Altair Development Associates ("Altair") facilitates the financing of clean energy projects. Our clients are investment funds, family offices, private equity, and institutional banks that have an interest in deploying capital into the clean energy markets with a concentration in solar, wind, and natural gas fired power plants. Recently, our clients have expanded their interests to energy storage and, in the right circumstances, traditional energy generation.We go to great lengths to understand our clients' investment profiles and clearly define the market segments they wish to place their capital, the risks they are willing to take, the returns they are looking to achieve, and the long term goals for the investment. Having this deep understanding of our client's goals allows Altair to find projects that fit their specific investment profiles. Not only do we identify exceptional projects that meet our client's needs, but our experience and expertise allows us to target projects that may have failed to close in the past but are still great projects. Many times we restructure the project to fit the investment profile of one of our clients achieving a maximum benefit to the developers while achieving the returns of our investment partners.In addition to managing the investment side of a transaction, Altair has long standing relationships with Developers who have well qualified or unique projects. If our client does not have in-house capability, Altair assists the client in performing financial analysis and due diligence of potential projects. Altair also has relationships with EPC contractors that are large enough to bond any job and have track records to stand behind their work. This allows us to bring additional resources and manage all elements of the construction process, if needed. In addition, our buying power can bring additional savings to the projects and driving a larger return for all involved.
