Altamura OP is the first organization of growers specialized in baby leaf salads. Embraced by the hills, tickled by the wind coming from the sea, our production area is located in the Piana del Sele and covers 450 hectares of protected cultivation. A perfect area for agriculture, the Piana del Sele is located in the province of Salerno between the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento Coast. It is an area that enjoys pedoclimatic conditions particularly suitable for the cultivation of leafy vegetables. It is an healthy land, which abounds with irrigation natural waters. It is also a fertile land, which preserves the Altamura specialties. Since 1965, we plant the best of leaf crops. Since 3 generations we cultivate the good of our land, to bring all the Italian taste on the whole world tables.
