Alabama Network Services (ANS) was formed in 2005 to meet the area's need for a technician and installer to build and service company's networks as they were growing over time. Most company's had their own IT department, but didn't have, nor want to pay an employee to handle running one or two Cat5e drops. Over the years, Alabama Network Services starting taking on bigger projects for more customers. ANS also had employees on staff that had other skills that we wanted to forward to our customers. From installing the companies telephone system, to your manufacturing department automation system. As with time, the technology changes and changes quickly. In 2011, Alabama Network Services decided to change the name to something lets our customers know we do more than just network. We decided to change to AlterContols. We still do the one or two cable job that started us and the 200 network drop for hospitals and dorm room. But we also have electrical repair department that will handle electronic board repairs, electrical controls, PLC repairs, SCADA troubleshooting and repairs. Along with these changes, we offer 24 hour 7 day a week call out for any system
