Alternative Investments Society Details
The purpose of AIS is to introduce undergraduate students at Villanova University to alternative asset classes, including, but not limited to, hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital. We seek to teach students the fundamentals of these asset classes through competitions and provide students with knowledge of the industry by discussing the fundamentals of these investment strategies, current market trends, private equity and venture capital deals, and perform financial modeling. Students who join AIS gain access to a wealth of information from current students, alumni, professionals and faculty who share an interest in the alternative investment space.
