ALEC stands for Alternative Learner Educational Community. We are exactly what we are called. ALEC is a community dedicated to delivering alternative learning opportunities. Teachers, instructors, parents, instructional designers, and curriculum specialists come together to create learning experiences that suit and satisfy the learner. Learning is customized to the needs of the student. ALEC provides standards aligned supplementary learning experiences that help guide learners who need a different way towards their intended goal. We assist parents who want to help their children at home. We work with classroom teachers to make sure that all students grasp the content on their terms. We partner with schools to enrich extended day and intervention experiences. As we work with you, you become part of the community of learners that is ALEC.
