At Alternatives Listening Rooms, we provide person-centred support for those who have had pregnancy related experiences such as an unplanned pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion, infertility or child-loss to the care system. Our team provide a space for you to talk through what has happened, what you are feeling and the decisions you want to make - we will not tell you what to do. We are there to support you in finding your own answers and a way forward that is right for you. Alternatives also run groups Our youth (12-25) service, The Download Project, provide further one-to-one listening support for young people who experience low-level issues such as challenging relationships/friendships, a difficult situation or have a concern about the way they feel about themselves. Our youth team also run self-esteem groups and workshops focusing on self-esteem and other important topics for agencies upon request. All of our support services are free and confidential. Appointments can be delivered face-to-face, through the telephone and online throughout the week, both during the day and in the evening.Alternatives also provide specialist pregnancy choices and pregnancy loss training to organisations and health professionals for a small fee.
