Alternatywa BMX Association Details
Alternatywa BMX Association is a non-profit, non-governmental youth organisation. Its activities focus on supporting youth alternative initiatives and projects. Its realised in areas of leisure time in urban areas, alternative sports, extreme sports, city culture, art, cinematography, photography and youth development. Established in 2003 and located in Lodz (Poland) the organisation deals with the promotion of the extreme sports and city based youth alternative ways of spending their leisure time in a creative way. Among members of Alternatywa BMX Association there are experienced trainers, athletes, teachers, managers, graphic designers, filmmakers and artists. Our volunteers are mainly young people from 15 to 27 years old. Lots of them are students of the humanities: graphics, photography, management and pedagogic. We have about 20-30 members and volunteers in Lodz and twice as much in other regions of Poland. We are running a special separate project of our organisation in southern part of Poland together with our members that live and work there.
