Altın Kablo has started its facilities by selling electrical materials and cables in 1968. The first energy cable production line was started up in Karaköy, İstanbul in 1970. In addition to energy cables, Altın Kablo has extended its production range including Telecommunication Cables (F/O, LAN, Copper), PVC Granule, LV Power Cables, Copper and Aluminium Conductors. Altın Kablo Kartepe plant covers 113,000 square meters consisting of 17,500 square meters closed area with 16,500 square meters of cable production and 1000 square meters of PVC granule production area. The Head Office is located in Karaköy, Istanbul. Besides Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara regional offices carry out sales and marketing operations. The distribution of sales is as follows: 55% Western Europe, 25% governmental associations, 15% private sector and 5% MEA countries.The production process is supervised based on quality control process flows and work standards to ensure that quality and reliability are at levels planned in the product design. Assessed Quality Management TS-ISO-EN 9001:2008, BS-ISO 9001:2008, MEYER ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Processes Certifications, and TS, HAR,BS have been granted by Turkish Standards Institution and BASEC (British Approvals Service for Cables).
