Amanda was founded in early 2015. We are a team of fun, international and dorky people who want to build products that connect people and cultures. Two apps have been successfully built and released to the market, and been featured by Apple in the Best New App category across 23 countries in Europe. Amanda, the first app that lets Chinese learners around the world to learn Chinese through trending social media stories in China, was released on Apple App Store in April 2015. Seed, the reading app that enables Chinese users to explore and consume English content from top international sources, was launched to Apple App Store and Android stores in China in August 2015. The Amanda team is based in the bustling Shanghai, China. We work out of a bright loft office where we host random BBQ parties on our roof top. We are constantly looking for fun, and talented people to join us to work with growth, engagement, engineering, and content curation.
