Amaze Film + Television is an award-winning production company based in Toronto. It was founded in 2000 by writers/producers Michael Souther and Teza Lawrence. We partner with companies across Canada and around the world to produce market-driven films and television, with strong ties in Los Angeles, New York and Europe. We're currently in post-production on Season 4 of "Call Me Fitz," a half-hour comedy series for HBO Canada and the Audience Network in the US. The show currently airs in 82 countries around the world and received 16 nominations at the 2011 Gemini Awards, resulting in seven wins. The series was created by writer/producer/director Sheri Elwood. The show stars Jason Priestley, who recently won Best Comedy Actor at the 2011 Monte Carlo TV Festival – in fine company with Tina Fey from "30 Rock," who won Best Comedy Actress. On the film front, our latest film, "Finn on the Fly," won the Audience Choice Award for Best Feature Film at the 2009 Sprockets Toronto International Film Festival for Children, a Best Independent Feature Film Award at the 2009 KIDS FIRST! Film Festival and sold to Disney. Amaze's first film, "Saint Ralph," premiered at the 2004 Toronto International Film Festival, won the Grand Prix at the 2005 Paris Film Festival, received a 2006 Genie nomination for Best Feature Film and was distributed theatrically around the world.
