AMAZON International for Training and Development was establish to deliver specialist technical and developmental training to the engineering and oil and gas sectors in Oman.Our main facility is at the purpose-built, state-of-the art, training facility located in Ghala Industrial area. The facility, originally built by BP in 2014 for the training of Khazzan technicians, is now available to all industries for workforce training and development.The well-equipped workshops are configured for technician training in the Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines. Additionally, there are dedicated areas for HSE training including confined space entry, basic fire fighting rope access and scaffolding building and inspection.The process operations training area includes two fully operational process skids, a three-phase separator and water treatment plant both using an Emerson Delta V – Distributed Control System (DCS) and includes a dedicated control room.The training rigs simulate a real production environment giving the students hands-on, operational experience on a wide range of equipment replicating conditions found on many sites.Amazon International Institute's highly qualified staff have many years of wide-ranging experience in training, assessment and Certification making our unique facility the preferred choice to meet your training and development requirements needs.
