Amelia Air is a tax exempt program, formed to find, rescue and transport abandoned animals from high-kill shelters to foster families, rescues and adoption agencies as fast and efficiently as possible. Our goal is to save more than 500 animals per year, in the most cost effective manner. We've been rescuing animals for years, and Amelia Air formalizes and expands our efforts to service the east and west coast with employee-volunteers on both coasts.Please help us with donations, insight, volunteering, or just plain encouragement! Our fantastically energetic and knowledgeable volunteers and board of advisors have helped go from zero to 10,000 feet and 200mph in a matter of only a few months. We're very excited to see what we can accomplish in the coming years!
