The American Alliance for Economic Development (AAED) is the premier advocacy association in Washington, D.C., representing the interests of regional centers across the United States and investors around the world. The EB-5 industry generates billions of dollars each year and employs thousands of Americans across a variety of industry sectors and represents approximately 2 percent of all foreign direct investment (FDI) net flows to U.S. economy. The AAED is the voice of the EB-5 investor community and the leading advocate for a meaningful policy agenda before key policy stakeholders in Washington. Our mission is to help address issues impacting its members that make significant investments in long term projects in congressional districts around the country. We strongly believe that increased foreign direct investment (FDI) through the program is a significant contributor to the U.S. economy and one that must be made permanent as a truly viable merit-based immigration program. The AAED's experienced staff of policy and advocacy experts provide unmatched access and information on the key issues affecting its' members. We are on the front lines on policy battles, impacting economic development and immigration reform. At every turn, we are working on behalf of its members to advance policies that help investors do what they do best: create U.S. economic strength and jobs for America.
