Launched in 2013, the AFLC has become the largest and most competitive full-tackle (11-a-side) football organization in China. As Co-founder and Elected Commissioner of the AFLC, I help to manage and promote local amateur football teams in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Chongqing, and Chengdu (> 60 players per team). The league, an elected body of administrators and coaches, provide a regulated platform for newly developed programs to play competitively against one another nationwide. Along with setting a standard for football programs in China, AFLC organizes national conferences, training clinics, camps, and bowl games as well as provides an exciting opportunity for sporting exhibitions, physical education and cultural exchange. AFLC continues to work toward the development of a fully-funded and organized league to nurture competitive football and positive social impact in China.
