Who we are: We are a small business just like you. We offer a service to craftsmen, manufacturers, artisans, and entrepreneurs by featuring your American made wares through the internet.Lois Louthian the founder of the company has always held a special place for Americana. Being and entrepreneur herself, she teamed up with her son Shane to create American Home Brands.Who we are not: We are not a website design company, even though we design and run the site. We are not a marketing company, even though we market products made by American Home Brands and others. We are not an Amazon want to be, even though we hope to give them some good stiff competition.In a nut shell, we are means-to-an-end. By that we mean the end result is getting paid for what you do and what you create. In order to do that, you need to find customers. That means dragging products to shows over and over again, or spending money to develop and host your own website, then figure out what terms like SEO mean and Payment Gateways. It means spending time doing the stuff that is not so fun, more than the stuff that you want to do and why you got into business in the first place, making things.We understand that half the fun is seeing a customer walk into your shop, or up to you at a show and purchasing something they treasure from your collection. We would never want to take away that joy, but if you can make it easier to get to the end sale, why wouldn't you try?
