The AIFC is a self sustaining nonprofit foundation built to address wealth and environmental inequality. As the first hybrid organization of its kind; it combines innovations in crowd-sourcing, crowdfunding, and venture philanthropy for a new type of grassroots organizing. The American Investment Corporation (AIC) produces profits in financial markets that are passed through to its parent organization, the American Investment Foundation (AIF). The American Investment Foundation provides grants, Program Related Investments (PRIs) and other activities to support community and SMB initiatives to address badly needed action without resorting to austerity. Our goal is to independently produce gap funding to support refitting, retooling and weatherization of the American economy for a better and more equitable future.
