GENERAL COMPANY DESCRIPTION American Renewable Energy Associates (AREA) is in the business of converting municipal solid waste (MSW) to electrical power and reducing the need for Landfills. AREA power production is specifically designed to meet renewable energy criteria. COMPANY GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: AREA goals are simple: 1. Eliminate the need for landfills as a method of disposing municipal solid waste (MSW) 2. Produce low cost renewable electric energy with extremely low (meets all EPA and NDEP requirements) emissions and pollutants 3. Produce a large number of both temporary and permanent jobs which pay well 4. Help develop energy independence for America PURPOSE: The average American produces about 4.4 pounds of garbage a day, 29 pounds a week and 1,600 pounds a year. This does not count industrial waste or commercial trash.
