Welcome! ASME at UW (American Society of Mechanical Engineers at the University of Washington) is a volunteer group dedicated to improving the college experience of Mechanical Engineering students, promoting discourse, and communication with potential Mechanical Engineering students, and encouraging young minds to gain an interest in STEM fields by outreach events to the community. If you would like to get involved, send an email to asme@uw.edu! We are always accepting members year-round and a background/major in mechanical engineering is not required.ASME @ UW welcomes any student regardless of their religion, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, and disability status.
