American Tailgaters believes the best way to reduce Veteran unemployment, is to give back to the Veteran community, specifically Veteran owned businesses. We will give grant money to these businesses for the purpose of creating Veteran ready jobs in their communities! These business owners all have one very powerful thing in common, they attract large numbers of Veterans who are leaving the service. All because of that cultural connection that that Veteran has to his previous life in the military. These business owners are virtual mentors to a lot of these veterans over social media channels. They are not only pillars of their community, but most importantly they are examples for other Veterans to follow. These business owners have successfully made the cultural transition from military to civilian life. We believe that the logical thing to do is to bring that mentorship in house, so that the Veteran too can successfully make the cultural transition from military to civilian life all while having meaningful employment.
