Focus: HOPE is a Detroit-based, non-denominational, non-profit organization whose aim is to overcome racism and poverty by providing education and training for underrepresented minorities and others.AmeriCorps VISTA is a national service program designed to alleviate poverty. AmeriCorps VISTAs at Focus: HOPE make a difference in Detroit and gain professional experience by serving full-time for one year, working to build capacity and reduce poverty.
