Amira Hankin is an artist and interdisciplinary visual designer based in Oakland, CA.She is a passionate visual storyteller – a meticulous designer with a drive to inspire others through beautiful, compelling, and accessible work. She strives to distill complex concepts into clear, informative narratives, designing to counter information inundation and to inspire action through user-centered design.With a strong foundation in communications / marketing, design strategy, and information architecture, she has done everything from digital UI/ UX work, graphic and print design, branding and visual identity development, to data visualization.Amira studied biology and fine arts at Bennington College in Vermont with an emphasis on human perception and cognition.
