WHO WE ARENon-profit Amistades, Inc. is meeting the identified and emerging education, social, health and economic needs of disparate, marginalized Latino populations - with an emphasis on youth and families in southern Arizona and its border communities.Since 2006, the agency has worked to draw local, state and national attention to the specific and unique cultural approaches to prevention and intervention that must be taken to effectively serve Latinos at the program, practice and policy levels. All efforts are grounded in grassroots outreach, strategic partnership, and use of evidence-based practices.
